We bloody love a blogger!!! The B word is no longer a taboo!!! And to be a professional blogger takes skill, professionalism and dedication – so rather than us ladies in The Mothers Meeting HQ tell you how great our events are – we would prefer to invite a blogger do so!!!!
Please welcome the lovely Laura Rutherford and her great review of our MARKS AND SPENCER X PRINCESS MARIE-CHANTEL LAUNCH.

OVER TO YOU LAURA!!!
Quite possibly one of the most exciting collaborations e v e r, children’s wear brand Marie-Chantal launches a collection with Marks and Spencer!
Stanley and I got all dressed up for a very special afternoon of high tea, at the Haymarket hotel with none other than Marie-Chantal herself, the Princess of Greece (I know, I know, we regularly hang out with royalty don’t you know!). Thanks to Mothers Meetings, about 40 of us mummy’s had the opportunity to glimpse the range at an exclusive viewing, complete with cucumber sandwiches, bone china tea cups, tiers of scrumptious cakes and bundles of good mama chat a plenty! Oh and the icing on the cake for me definitely had to be Bedazzled children’s entertainers– on hand to distract and amuse Stan and other littles in the room next door while us mamas pretended to be posh, and kid-free, without any little monkeys hanging off our legs with snot smothered faces (standard)!
For those of you that don’t know about the brand Marie-Chantal, let me enlighten you.. It was founded in 2001 by Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, Creative Director and mother of five. There are two boutiques in London and a website.
Beautiful children’s wear designed to celebrate heritage and nostalgia of childhood. Think traditional and classic, the finest cottons, linens, silk, cashmere blends and the finest merino wool. Luxurious double breasted coats, Peter Pan collars, tapered trousers, and the most delicious baby range too. Nothing garish, or screaming with rainbow colours! Delicate tonal colour options compliment the high quality fabric compositions providing a range that is simply attractive with the best trims and details.
This collaboration is intended to make this luxury brand accessible and more affordable. By partnering with Marks and Spencer, it branches the consumer gap to offer the High Street an exclusive 33 piece collection of clothing, accessories and gifting designed for baby and children up to five years old.
‘I am so excited about my very first collaboration with M&S and feel that the Marie-Chantal and M&S collection has captured the magic of childhood in this collection. Together we have designed a beautiful collection of clothes and gifts for baby, boys and girls in a soft and sweet palette. A classic yet contemporary collection which is also fun and playful.’ Princess Marie-Chantal.
We had a super time, ate way too many cakes (gluten-free who?!), met some lovely mothers, stroked and admired some beautiful clothes and made a mental note of ALL the pieces I’ll be purchasing from Marks and Spencer. A huge thanks to The Haymarket Hotel (which is stunning), Mothers Meetings, Bedazzled parties, M&S and the princess herself for such a fabulous afternoon.
The Marie-Chantal collection will be exclusively available in 37 M&S stores in the UK and online at www.marksandspencer.com from 1st November 2016, plus selected international stores and websites. Mark your DIARIES!
