Our September Mothers Meeting Business Club, featuring Yvonne Fuchs (Branding Workshop), Juliet Sear, Pearl Lowe, Anna and Lydia (TIBA+MARL) and MOTHERS MEETING Founder Jenny Scott at the gorgeous TOWN HALL HOTEL.
As always our Mothers Meeting Business Club is brimming with excitement, energy and buzzing with women wanting to learn, be inspired and motivate. This specific Business Club was focused around starting a business from your bed with just an iPhone and the contacts you already have – basically making most of the facilities and contacts you already have access too! After all we all have access to a bed and smart phone, not forgetting the red lippy 😉
Here are some pics to show you just how bloody great it was, and if you were not fortunate to come along – make sure you keep your eyes peeled for our next Mothers Meeting Business Club next month – by signing up to our newsletter.

ABOUT PEARL LOWE
From as early as I can remember, I’ve always loved creating. I would customise my clothes, knowing I’d be the only person wearing them. I just loved it.
Age 10, I designed my first collection for my mother’s little boutique shop in Covent Garden. I’ve never forgotten the amazing feeling I felt, seeing the clothes I’d designed, hanging there on the rails.
But after leaving school I chose music over fashion. I joined a band as a lead singer, toured Europe, had a baby and soon 3 more! As the kids grew up, it hurt me to be apart from them, so I quit the band and decided I needed to do something that enabled me to be with my children.
So I went back to my passion for design.
Lace curtains led to lace dresses, which then led to a 3 year collaboration with the high street brand Peacocks.
I released a vintage craft book & also produced a healthy cookbook with my daughter Daisy.
So now, here I am with my first ever luxury kids lifestyle brand.
Everything you see here is handmade in my hometown of Frome, with dedicated seamstresses who have a world of experience and an eye for beauty.
Food is at the heart of everything I do, I’ve always had an incredible passion for it since I was a child. I have been cooking for my family since the age of 10. When I got married, and had my own kitchen, I was non-stop cooking, often creating several courses each night for my husband; he had to tell me to hold the starters and pudding because he was putting on weight!
From those early days of honeymoon cooking, it became an obsession, an addiction that had to be satisfied! These days, nothing excites me more than throwing huge dinner parties and getting friends together. George, our son, came along 17 years ago and, of course, I had to make an amazing centrepiece to celebrate his first birthday! This turned in to making cakes for friends and soon enough I was running a little home business and the rest is history.
Since then I’ve been up to loads of fab baking, caking and cooking for thousands of folks including lots of celebs and fantastic stores including royal grocer Fortnum and Mason which is marvellous. Nothing excites me more than an edible challenge, I love the creativity and fun involved in bringing people’s ideas to life through the medium of food whether it be for corporate events, PR campaigns , edible art installations or celebrations. Have a look around my website for more info, thanks!
ABOUT TIBA AND MARL
Tiba + Marl was created in 2015 by London duo, Anna Tizard and Lydia Barron.
Both Mothers, they spotted a gap in the market for contemporary, trend inspired parent changing bags. Anna, a former Senior Bag Buyer for Urban Outfitters and Topshop, and Lydia, a footwear and accessories designer for Kurt Geiger and Sigerson Morrison, set about to provide cool Mums AND Dads with a range of cleverly designed, super functional changing bags where an edge of cool always comes as standard.
