To celebrate the launch of our new Ask Italian kids menu, we invited our Mothers Meeting crew of mamas and their adorable little minis down to ASK ITALIAN to give it a go!
As the little ones dipped vegetable sticks and bread soldiers into a tasty tomato dip, us ladies caught up over antipasti sharing boards and their tipple of choice. As always there was such a MM buzz around the table as, in true Italian style, we enjoyed a mealtime with friends and family over great food, sharing stories whilst the kids had fun together too. And with a little mess thrown in for good measure – after all, their new kids menu is all about encouraging little ones to play with their food!
With three courses and a babyccino for £6.95, a favourite is definitely our new Dip & Dunk Pasta, which lets little ones dunk their choice of either our fun cartwheel pasta or tomato and cheese tortellini into a tasty tomato sauce and then dip into grated cheese; it even counts as one of their five a day*! Pizza-loving little ones can choose two toppings to go with their tomato and cheese base, including pepperoni, chicken breast, ham, roasted peppers and olives.
And of course we’re known to have a little fun with desserts so for the kids we’ve gone all out with our Tip & Top Ice Cream, encouraging little ones to build their own pudd with their choice of gelato and exciting toppings such as crushed meringue, strawberries, marshmallows and sprinkles, which are served on the side.
And you can encourage them to rack up some of their daily portions of fruit and veg with great options such as the hidden veggies in our Brilliant Bolognese. And packing in some fruity goodness with new-to-the-menu Joosed! Junior (shout out to Bensons for providing the juices for our Mothers Meeting!).
Our Mothers Meetings is an inclusive group of inspiring ladies who are raising the next generation to know community, creativity and entrepreneurship. We host events in London and across the UK with guest speakers, launches, business talks and generally share in family life as independent women. We can also be found nailing the Instagram scene and entertaining the parenting community with relatable Insta stories – check them out here!
And the verdict on our new kids menu…

Jade of @the_motherofall_adventures wrote about eating out, ‘[we’ve] given up going out for dinner with the kids, mainly because of the terrible twins (not twins I just call them twins) they scream, cry and shout! Basically they tantrum their way through dinner! Winning!. So of course I decided to tackle @askitalian yesterday by mysel 😱 but do you know what? They had never been more well behaved and content (I’m shocked) maybe it had something to do with the beautifully delicious food they had put in front of them (new kids menu over at ASK Italian) honestly Raulf didn’t move from his plate haha. I had the best mumma company and they all had the sweetest children, sharing the table (and floor😏) with the funny and beautiful @jennyscottmm @sarah_davis_smith @that_mummy_smile @life_with_ivycoco @mothersmeetings @cultofyouth @katyworwood thanks for being you girls and making me feel normal!
