MM TSHIRT WORKSHOP AT YR STORE
The Mother’s Meeting and Yr Store takeover was a hit yesterday and Yr store was full to the brim from 12-3pm. We were told its the fullest the store has ever been. Design, creativity and motherhood go hand in hand. The store was packed, the little ones entertained themselves playing with each other (I recall a lot of scooter whizzing and hide and seek). It was great to see mumma’s catching up with old friends and making new ones. The digital printing process gave every mum the chance to be creative, produce their own piece and play designer.
There were numerous backgrounds to choose from and Mother’s Meeting made their own designs and quotes to go onto the t-shirts/crops or vest. The 6 state of the art screen enabled you to twist, turn, tile and change the colours of the chosen background pattern to create a one of a kind piece. Mums made T-shirts and vests for themselves and their little bundles of joy which could be taken away in a matter of minutes.You could be as simple or as loud as you like. There were so many styles of MM tee’s we had everything from monochrome, to polka dots and cheeseburgers and even a multi-coloured tribal print. The designs and print combinations were endless we could have been there all day.
The six week #Yrstore takeover installation enables members of the general public to come in and make an item of clothing. Last week Thursday was the @wahnails takeover, yesterday was us and currently @Patternity are holding their takeover.
