Once again – we are always over the moon when we get the opportunity to work with brands that we love and even more over the moon when we have the opportunity to give you lovely ladies the chance to get out of the house without the lil one or the other half!! AND HAVE SOME ME TIME!! And as you know there is no party like a MOTHERS MEETING PARTY!!! Especially when we get to celebrate H&M Kids Halloween extravaganza!!
We are totally overwhelmed with the amount of support we had for this event and as you can see from the pics that the quote ” Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success” Henry Ford
We never want to bang on about how mega Mothers Meeting is etc – so we hand it over to you ladies to tell everyone how it really is…
REVIEW BY THE LOVELY MAMA FRAN!!
OMG! I LOVE H&M and I LOVE Halloween! So attending the MM X H&M KIDS Halloween event was a definite for my diary! A wonderful soirée with fantastic Japanese catering, bubbly on tap and good music in the background MM X H&M certainly know how to host an event – not to mention the intricately styled features, photo booth and make up artists to glitter-fy (yes that is now a thing!) every single guest and did I mention WICKED fancy dress options from H&M!
I arrived not knowing anyone but soon fell into the arms of Laura Rutherford (lauraRutherford.com) a fantastic friend and blogger closely followed by Heledd Harman (http://www.runninginlavender.com/) and Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior Magazine. It turns out I knew a few people but I need not have worried, I was soon chatting away to fellow Mums about moving to Brighton (and escaping London), Halloween decoration addicton and obviously our children… I felt right at home.
Having been glittered up, downed a bottle of water and eaten as much sushi as I could politely get away with, Jenny introduced her panel of fantastic guests. I’m always a bit dubious of ‘panel discussion’ in these situations but it was relaxed and informal but more importantly it was informative!! I listened and nodded and will now be making ‘potato’ ghosts for my Halloween table; I’ll have the music on when my guests arrive and I’ll even have the perfect eye liner flick courtesy of my H&M eye liner pen (which was in the goody bag!).
Post-panel discussion I looked through the H&M Kids Halloween collection and was overjoyed to see glorious head to toe fun looks like a superman and skeleton costume but also streetwear styles and general party pieces that nodded to Halloween but could also be worn again (something us mums are always thinking about!)…
One glass of fizz later I departed from the glamorous H&M press office, goodie bag in hand (which included a biscuit making mix for the kids plus an H&M gift card for me obvs!). I was just in time to nip into H&M Oxford Circus to look at their homeware (because it can’t always be about the kids!)…
