DAY TRIPPIN, PRIORY FARM DISCOVERY WALK
THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN SEEING YOUR LIL ONE RUN WILD IN THE COUNTRYSIDE - THAT IS WHY IT IS TIME TO SAY, GOODBYE LONDON, HELLO COUNTRYSIDE. JOIN US ON OUR VERY FIRST DISCOVERY WALK.
A Big thank you to the amazing mamma Lucie Flynn for suggesting such a great MM!!
We start the day in the Farms café which is housed in a large greenhouse building with a patio and outside play area and eat some great locally sourced food.
Once we have fueled up we can let the little ones run free in the fresh air on the ‘Discovery Walk’ this is an area of the Farm that has been set aside to allow little ones to explore the surroundings with all the freedom that you could wish for.
Let them run after the guinea fowl and ducks, play drums in the wigwam, dare to climb the look out tower, make as much noise as they want on the giant chimes and cross the low bridge to the vastly populated lake to feed the wildlife.
The best thing about this is that its all done in the Surrey countryside – fresh air, no traffic, no crowds and none of the usual rules that we may sometimes need to put into place will apply.
All this = freedom, fun and the best bit - a good nights sleep from all the outdoor ingredients!!!
(it doesn’t matter what age your baby or toddler is, this will give something to all ages) xxx
Priory Farm is set amidst stunning countryside … visit our Walk and explore it for yourself!
The Discovery Walk appeals to visitors of all ages. There’s more now than ever before, with a surprise around every corner! Our runner ducks and guinea fowl are really funny and the chickens are our latest addition. Other favourites include the low bridge from which to take a good look at the inhabitants of our lake and feed the fish, ducks and other wildlife that live there. Youngsters love the nature trails – a picture-based one suitable for younger children and a fact-gathering quiz for nature detectives up to around 12 years old.
