Five star luxury hotel, The Sanderson and St Martins Lane, have teamed up with motivational social network Mothers Meeting in partnership with Whistles, to host an exclusive evening book launch like no other with a panel of POWER MUMS hosted by tv presenter and mother of 2 Cherry Healey and three days of exclusive workshops with some of the most successful women in London, including founder of WAH nails, Sharmadean Reid, and Brand_Famous author, Linzi Boyd.
To celebrate the launch of her new book, How to be a Hip Mama without Losing your Cool, St Martins Lane and Mothers Meeting have teamed up to share Jenny’s knowledge and advice on how to enjoy motherhood’s numerous new adventures whilst keeping your cool.
Mothers Meeting was born when creative director and graphic designer, Jenny Scott, had her first child and found her busy work and social life replaced with monotonous daytime TV and research on nipple creams. Scott decided to create her own social network that focused on the mother as her own person and not just a ‘mum.’ Mothers Meeting has created a stimulating, engaging and supportive environment that helps mothers of all ages meet like-minded women intent on keeping their cool.
As one of London’s first boutique hotels, The Sanderson and St Martins Lane is a name synonymous with forward thinking and working with brands that challenge the everyday stereotype. Now teaming up with Mothers Meeting, St Martins Lane aims to bring together some of the most inspirational women from different industries to share their knowledge with the women and mothers of London.
The evening consisted of lots of red lipstick, gorgeous women, energy, enthusiasm, Snow Queen vodka cocktails and Bloom Gin specialities, an air of excitement and a panel of power mamas dressed head to toe in slick Whistles outfits and a discussion that covered all aspects of motherhood from fitting sex in to a busy work schedule to running away from it all (quite literally). The evening did not just end there - we even had an awards ceremony with awards that celebrated amazing women doing the hardest job in the world - being mums! Our awards consisted of :
‘most chilled out’
‘least amount of social media followers’
‘just do it’
‘do it your own way’
and many more.
These awards where more than just an award in a gold frame it was a reflection of the Mothers Meeting ethos and celebrating more than just self-promotion and celeb statues!
