Standing defiantly on wasteland just south of the Thames, Battersea Power Station is both an iconic landmark and a national disgrace - since 1983, it has lain unloved and dormant. Now, as a new art exhibition moves into the structure, the public will, for one month, have the opportunity to visit this symbolic building.
We are honoured and super excited to have been asked to be part of the BATTERSEA POWER STATIONS SUMMER FESTIVAL ‘THE POWER OF SUMMER’.
This summer is the last chance to snoop around before Battersea gets the luxury redevelopment treatment. Mothers Meeting has teamed up with the super awesome INDYTUTE to host a very special Mothers Meeting every Monday, starting the 21st July - 25th August. Our workshops will range from flower arranging with the THE FLOWER APPRECIATION SOCIETY to Nutrition juicing workshop with the fab BETSYS MUM as well as workshops with:

The Indytute is firing up and switching on at Battersea Power Station. Providing their ‘Brilliant Inspired Lessons’. The Indytute will be popping up throughout the summer, keeping the residents of SW8 and beyond entertained and informed. The Indytute will be sharing the site with Everyman Cinema (pod seats, films and the World Cup Final) and Street Feast (Pop Dogs, Proscecco and the best street food). The Indytute will be keeping the action going in the afternoons.
