That everything really is a phase and that is does get better. I was told this but I didn’t really get it and so ignored it, then wondered why I was crying in Selfridges with a 10 day old whilst attempting to go back to ‘normal.’ You do go back to normal eventually. Not at 10 days.

I was careful in only listening to advice from people that I trust and are on the same wavelength to me. Anything else I blocked out/ignored/instantly forgot.

The Sound Sleeper white noise app. If you see a woman pushing a pram with the sound of a hairdryer blasting out, it’s me. On the plus side, he should be perfectly happy if I ever take him to the hairdressers with me.

That you don’t ever get your old life back, but that’s OK, you get a new life. And also I wish I’d had the ambition, drive and balls I’ve found since having Beau. I think I was coasting along before becoming a Mum – now I can’t tell you how much I’ve achieved by 10am.

Nope! I was the first one out of my friendship group so I only had my Mum and her advice was gold. My Aunty Lucy mentioned the first poo after childbirth. I could have done without that visual.

SO MANY! But I am loving the threes. I love that I can have proper conversations with Beau and am learning so much about her personality. She’s a bit of a weirdo but I love that.
